Information we collect

In order to make payments you must also provide credit card, debit card or bank account information. Our Use of “Cookies”

Soundandsafe.com is committed to processing and handling your information with high standards of security. Electronically we use network and computer safeguards such as firewalls, encryption, daily anti virus and malware screening. Physically our buildings are security controlled and alarmed to the highest NSI NACOSS Gold standards. We only authorise access to your information to the employees who require it to fulfil their job responsibilities. All staff are security vetted in accordance with BS7858:2006
Electronic Payments & Transactions
Soundandsafe.com process electronic card payments via a third party (Paypal) using both online and offline methods. These transactions are transmitted using secure SSL 128 bit encryption. We comply with and adhere to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard. We do not store credit and/or debit card details.
Data Protection
By placing an order with Soundandsafe.com the Customer agrees to data relating to the transaction being retained and processed by Soundandsafe.com in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 or any statutory modification thereof. The data so retained will be used by Soundandsafe.com for the purpose of accounting and marketing and will not be disclosed to any third party without the previous consent in writing of the Customer.
Soundandsafe.com may send to the Customer details of other Goods and services offered by Soundandsafe.com that Soundandsafe.com may consider to be of interest to the Customer. If the Customer does not wish to receive details of these offers then they should contact Soundandsafe.com either in writing at 84a Old Bedford Road, Luton. Bedfordshire LU2 7PD, by facsimile on 08707 625652, by telephone on 01582 451166 or by e-mail at mailto:mail@soundandsafe.com requesting that data is removed from the marketing database. Soundandsafe.com subscribes to the data protection principles as laid down by the Information Commissioner and all data is held securely. The Customer may, by writing to the Customer Care Department of Soundandsafe.com, request that all data relating to them be deleted from its records. Customers may also, in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998, obtain copies of such data that is held in respect of them by Soundandsafe.com. For Trade Customers Soundandsafe.com will also retain and process information in its capacity of a credit reference agency. Telephone calls and e-mails to Soundandsafe.com may be recorded or monitored for the purposes of security training and quality assurance.
