All businesses have assets that need to be protected from theft or vandalism. There is also the issue of protecting staff and their property. Access control increases your company’s security by providing total control over who can enter your building and when.
Whether you require a stand-alone single door system, or hundreds of doors networked across multiple sites we can tailor a solution to suit your needs with useful features such as:
- Automatic remote door locking/unlocking
- Live event display and logging
- Alarms and alerts for doors left or forced open
- Time schedules
- Door access authority by department, job role or status
- Fire Roll call and muster reporting
- Time and attendance for payroll
- Staff database with holiday schedules
- Photo ID cards
- Fire alarm integration to automatically open doors in an emergency
Once an access control system is installed the controlled doors will automatically lock when they are closed. Coded tokens are issued to staff to allow them access through the controlled doors, if they are lost, stolen or just not returned when someone leaves they can be easily barred at the administration PC. Barred tokens will not allow access through the controlled doors. Anyone without a coded token is unable to enter or make their way through the building.
An access control system provides the most efficient and convenient way of securing your building and assets. Access control can also offer flexible control over individual users, groups or departments access rights.
For example, all staff can gain access through the main entrance, but access to internal areas may be restricted to those who have a specific need to be there. Access may also be restricted by time, only allowing particular users at certain times of day or night. If necessary, doors may be set to unlock automatically during a designated time frame.
It is common in buildings that are secured by locks and keys for doors to be left unlocked all day. Locks and keys when lost or stolen can incur considerable expense and inconvenience. Keys may also be copied, creating even more security risks.
Your door access control system will become more of a building management tool than just a security system.
